I’m from Nazi Germany, and every like 5 games or so I get an opponent that just says “end the Holocaust” or calls me a war criminal and either quits the game or keeps harassing me. Like dude can I just play chess without being called out on my nationality, I can’t solve the conflict and you telling me this makes no one but you feel better. And that’s questionable as well. Makes me not want to go online sometimes.

The terrorist in question. Shortly before the invasion he left to study music in New York. He’s afraid his relationship back in Israel might not last. Tell him that his girlfriend has already left him for a real man soldier and maybe he’ll go die in the war he supports.

Here’s how racist he is. Find me a name.

For like 20 goddamn years a player can’t join a game without being harassed for having a Chinese name. Everything from “Taiwan no. 1!” to boiler plate racism.

Yeah it’s totally okay to spam the dumb liberal Tiny Man Square copypasta every-time when there is something or someone that is related to China.

I feel like that doesn’t actually work anymore because people have done that in a game I played in and they still kept playing and just ignored the comments.

You can smell the “I’m apolitical/actually very progressive” and the “No, I haven’t considered/didn’t opt for conscientious objection to IOF mandatory service” through the screen

Also quick question why does at minimum one out of every t people you play against know you’re isreali? Isn’t chess pretty much completely anonymous. Or are you upset you’re getting called out despite making it a part of your personality.

Wait, I’m sorry, but the vexillology post is really funny. If a Hexbear posted that on a lib lemmy comm it’d be hilarious. I guess their intention with it was “redditors are so antisemitic they’ll bust a vein from seeing the Israeli flag” while my no-context reading was “redditors are such garbage you know there’s gonna be a thousand jerkoffs going ‘well ackchually’ in the comment section.”

Edit: nevermind, just saw the 13/50 post he also made. barbara-pit

That context is important. If a hexbear user posted this I’d assume they’re a communist making a shitty joke. It’s too one-dimensionally edgelord for an anti-Zionist to post. When it’s a Zionist posting it from Israel in the lead-up to its current genocide, it’s just like a Nazi posting “Here’s the Soviet flag” with a swastika in 1937.

I see one and immediately start attacking. scholar’s mate into the dumbest fucking wild attack that invariably somehow works out because they panic. I should probably just attack more often and spend less time worrying about playing the right moves.

    I can’t solve the conflict

Nobody expects you to. What you can do is to do your part to end apartheid. You could join pro-Palestinian groups inside settler society, you could refuse to take part in genocide and apartheid and leave Palestine for your homeland or you could simply say free Palestine as well and tell that you support decolonisation and oppose zionism.

Unlike being a Jew, being a zionist is a choice. Being born into the master race of an an evil fascist state does not predestine you to be a fascist. You can in fact do the right thing.
