My mistake. Next time we’ll use at least three.

We did a chili party at home and one pot wasn’t enough.

Yeah, next time I’ll ask for an additional pot. We miscalculated the sizes this time, but it was really fun to cook.

Look delicious! I had a similar situation with a gumbo a few weeks ago.

    Don’t drop them lol.

Did you portion it out or freeze it after? That’s a ton of chili. Looks good too.

We ate some of that, and the rest went into the freezer, separated in containers of one or two pounds for future chili parties.

I need to know more about these chili parties. For instance, when is the next one? And what should I bring?

Portion it out into vacuum bags. Then just drop the whole thing in boiling water.

Until it thaws in your backpack, and due to the vacuum sealing, it’s 100% full so any attempts to puncture it will result in chili hands. In the middle of the woods. The bears will have a field day with your highly aromatic fingies

“At least once a year I like to bring in some of my Kevin’s Famous Chili. The trick is to undercook the onions. Everybody is going to get to know eachother in the pot. I’m serious about this stuff. I’m up the night before, pressing garlic, and dicing whole tomatoes. I toast my own ancho chiles. It’s a recipe passed down from Malones for generations - it’s probably the thing I do best.”
