Here, for a while at McDonald’s there was a 🍔 called “the 1955” and it was the best, big pieces of onion, an special sauce, buns and big piece of beef with bacon (for Europe standards anyways) it disappeared once and came back for an encore only to be removed again and never return.
Idk if this counts but the people who make Nettle’s sausage changed their recipe and now the sausage sucks
Foot long chili dogs.
Sonic still has those.
I can’t find Starbucks ginger molasses cookies, although technically they’re still sold? I could fly to Seattle I guess.
McDonald’s Salad Shaker or the McDLT
McDs also had an excellent salad wrap for a couple of years.
Arby’s potato cakes
I liked the Arby’s pizza bites from 20 years ago as well.
They had turnovers that were good too
The Wendy’s 4-Alarm Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
Not “fast food” but a junk food, cadburys used to do a chocolate sponge cake in a tin that was the best. Im not even a massive fan of chocolate but these things were great!
They still have those where I live I think. Chocolate shavings on top?
Nah not shavings, it was a chocolate sponge cake with a chocolate sauce over the top
Well that’s a new one. Looks delicious. I’m a big Cadbury fan.
I miss Cadbury nuts about chocolate. It was a caramel with a while nut in the middle. A bit like the purple rose.
McPizza
It was actually the steak bagel breakfast sandwich at McDonalds… until that garbage institution actually brought it back defector! It trned out to be a weaker approximatation with different/less seasoning on meat and different sauce, but close enough for nostalgia
Taco Bell Choco-Taco. Yeah, the reanimated corpse of it lives on in some gas station frozen sections, but it’s a shitty product. The original one sold at Taco Bell in the 90s was god tier.
I hate to tell you, but even the shitty Choco Tacos were discontinued a few years ago
It doesn’t matter. They were dead to me a long time ago.
Did you ever look at the nutritional information on the original Choco Taco?
I think one taco had about 50% of your recommended daily amount of saturated fat.
Just have 2, they’re probably not that expensive.
The Arby’s Triple Cheese Melt. I think they stopped making it by the late 90s. Every once in a while it would show up again randomly and go away again a few weeks later but I don’t think I’ve seen one since like 2005
McRib
McRibs return when the price of pork is low.
Interesting, actually I basically never go to McDonalds, so I didn’t realize it.
Santa Fe items at Taco Bell. Also the Volcano Nachos.
Carl’s Jr. recently discontinued their Beyond Famous Star, which I honestly think tasted better than a regular Famous Star.
Burger King had actual Mac&Cheese burger patties for a very brief period and it was the best thing ever.
SmashBurger did the same and also had a spicy version that was awesome; also gone 😔
The original Enchirito. It was fairly large and had more sauce and cheese.
Also the Bell Burger.
