Here, for a while at McDonald’s there was a 🍔 called “the 1955” and it was the best, big pieces of onion, an special sauce, buns and big piece of beef with bacon (for Europe standards anyways) it disappeared once and came back for an encore only to be removed again and never return.
At McDonalds in India, there was a chocolate thick shake. It was basically chocolate shake that was frozen. It was served from a softie-machine of sorts. I had to suck the straw so effing hard to have 1 sip of the shake.
I used to buy it and let it melt for a while , just so that I can drink it through straw.
They discontinued it. Idk why.
“Roastburgers” from Arby’s
Taco Bell Choco-Taco. Yeah, the reanimated corpse of it lives on in some gas station frozen sections, but it’s a shitty product. The original one sold at Taco Bell in the 90s was god tier.
I hate to tell you, but even the shitty Choco Tacos were discontinued a few years ago
It doesn’t matter. They were dead to me a long time ago.
Did you ever look at the nutritional information on the original Choco Taco?
I think one taco had about 50% of your recommended daily amount of saturated fat.
Just have 2, they’re probably not that expensive.
Milk Shakes at just about any fast food restaurants. The machines always seem to be down! Pulled up to an Arby’s a few months back to order a Jamoca shake and they said their machine was down. I asked them if I had pulled into the McDonald’s drive through by mistake. We all had a big laugh… but that was months ago and they have now put a sticker on the menu that says their shakes are not currently available :(
Went to a Baskin Robins to order a Chocolate Milk shake and they were out of Chocolate ice cream… on multiple occasions. At least they don’t have a machine to break down!
Sorry our scoop is down. Can I interest you in a birthday cake?
Taco Bell’s Volcano Taco. They brought it back for like a month and took it away again. Technically it’s still available in Kuwait but I can’t get anyone to mail me a bag of the sauce.
If it’s still available in December message me and I’ll mail you a bag when I go.
Thanks! If I remember to come back here, will do!
The volcano burrito for me.
Yes! When taco bell was going for spice and flavor and not just trying to find new ways to add more cheese to everything.
The sourdough ranch bacon cheeseburger from Carl’s Jr was my go to burger back in the early 2000s. They brought back another sourdough sandwich a few years ago and it was also good but unfortunately that’s also discontinued.
The sourdough from Jack in the Box is close but with the lack of lettuce and onions feels a little dry.
Dairy queen nerds blizzard. You can fake it with a sonic blast but it’s not the same.
Idk if this counts but the people who make Nettle’s sausage changed their recipe and now the sausage sucks
The Mexican pizza that had olives on it.
I remember the time when Subway used to serve their sandwiches with the strip of bread on top. Those were the good old days.
You can still get it that way!
Just ask for it ‘cut old style’.
I’m trying this.
unfortunately most people working at subway now are young, and have no idea what you’re talking about.
you can’t even order a subway melt anymore without explaining what it is.
The true failure of the education system that noone talks about…
No one is two words, Mike. It’s an indefinite pronoun that means nobody.
Whoa, you’re so smart.
What a neat fact that I absolutely don’t care about!
Alright take it easy Mike
Can’t even get a pizza-meatball-crab sub or an all syrup Dr. Pepper either.
Taco Bell quesoritos :(
Why did you remind me of our loss?
Came here to say this.
How can no one else miss Taco Bell’s naked chicken chalupa? I loved that thing.
And the McRib is missed every time it leaves.
The original Frito Burrito!
Yessss!! And when they had taquitos with the different dipping sauces!
Ahh! Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to remember what the chalupa was called for months.
Glad I could help
Mcdonald’s chicken selects! And by extension the snack wraps. Also their very limited basket of fries. I feel like I might be the only person who even remembers it.
Gotta chime in with the bacon cheddar potato wedges and chili cheese curly fries at Jack in the Box. Jack in general has become shit tier now.
Also, McDonalds used to have a super excellent breakfast burrito with sausage, bacon, peppers, everything. Back when breakfast all day was a thing.
Not exactly fast food but kinda junk food, the sugar free lime Red Bull it was so good it was an after work treat I would get myself. Then it just slowly started disappearing from shelves and then they were gone, I would love it if they brought it back. As for fast food double decker tacos at Taco Bell, they had a good long run so I can’t be too disappointed, but miss just being able to go in and buy them when I want.
I loved that Red Bull! I would buy it as a treat after work and it was so refreshing. I don’t know why they discontinued it!
