I was a big fan of BE in the past, but too much time on Twitter and adopting a ‘streamer’ personality has completely brainwormed him in recent years; It seems like he cares more about “winning” over other people on the internet instead of presenting any coherent thought. He’s made some great videos in the past, but not even his fans seem to know what side he’s taking on a given day anymore.

A concerningly large portion of people with the kind of takes you’re parodying have both Ukrainian and Palestinian flags in their bio. Somehow they aren’t able (willing?) to see the contradiction there.
If they are pro ceasefire in Ukraine I don’t think there’s a contradiction it just makes them anti war.
Idk about the others though, maybe they are just uneducated on how bad the situation in Ukraine is? Gaza is front and center on social media and a lot of protests are happening. Ukraine is way more locked down in mainstream media as an underdog constantly about to beat Russia.

I am very serious, the only difference really is that Mao isn’t a youtube. Time will tell wether BadEmpada, the modern day philosopher that he is, will have any actual influence on this world and we were right to care about him or if he was just another way to get my brain to give me sweet dopamine by arguing with people online.
