It’s especially funny how his particular way of getting mad about something is to be all “yeah, that’s amusing isn’t it?!??!”

And it almost always is lmao

Reading Shapiro’s tweet I seriously wasn’t sure if it was sarcastic or not for a moment. My response to basically any rhetorical white right wing “questions” like “do you want white people reduced and just immigrants everywhere in America?” And I’m like actually yeah, that sounds fine ??

It’s funny when they act out and say shit like “I bet you want to institute communism and put me in a gulag”

Only 'cause you asked so nicely, bro.

Last time I drove out to see my mom she asked me if I’d like her to pickup some dinner anywhere before I came in, so I suggested Pho (knowing she would easily be able to eat it, it’s got no spice unless you add it). I explained over the phone that it was absolutely safe, she would love it. When I got there she ordered something else for herself and I had to explain straight up that she was being absurd.

I made Thai food for her later that weekend and it really struck me how sad it was that she’s just kept herself locked up away from all of these amazing foods. Honestly spice wasn’t even that hard to get used to (I’m still not great but I can appreciate a good blend of spiciness and flavor), like any other weird flavor you can train yourself to eat it.

This is why I knew they were never serious. As if Cumtown was ever not funny. Shut up loser you just want to say the n-word.

No one on Cumtown has ever said the n-word, ironically or otherwise, at least on pod. The bit is always that they almost say the n-word (which is an incredibly rare bit), or it’s a bit about guy talking about how he was promised ‘n-less’ shrimp (again another one off). For like, edgy borderline to possibly crossing the line racist stuff, they were far more likely to play around with the bit that Adam has a big black son, or other incredibly dumb race-related bits than ironic slurs, though they do make fun of New York Italians a lot.

You’re thinking of like idubbbz. Nick specifically is more likely to joke about how much white people love saying the n-word.

Yes, and yes. In particular they really liked to do little song parodies about how r-worded and gay (f-worded) they were (but mostly about how small their dicks were). The content definitely isn’t for everyone, but to say the show was racist, sexist and homophobic is really stretching the definition, especially since I’ve had to work around people that legitimately still think that gay people are pedophiles. It was a really dumb guy podcast, but idk, it just never crossed the line for me in ways that so many other male comedian podcasts always seemed to, which is why I would stop listening to them, with much of it having to do with the total lack of hostility towards anybody aside from each other on occasion. It was a vibe.

He did drop a censored N bomb in the context that he accidentally doxxed Adam, Adam gets upset, saying Nick will forget to bleep his home address and some deranged fan’s going to show up and shoot him.

Nick proceeds to say the N word with the hard R (censored in the released version), Stav absolutely loses it. Nick goes “Ok this way I won’t forget to go back and edit out your address which is beeeep, because then I’ll be cancelled for saying the N word”

I had to BEG my mom to season the ground beef for white people tacos, because “I bought the cheese that has taco seasoning in it, why does it need more?”

Growing up in a town with a good amount of hispanic influence and incredible food spoiled me.

I knew a mormon family in southern California who made the whitest tacos Ive ever had. Flour Tortillas (not even heated up), unseasoned ground beef, spring mix, and Catalina dressing instead of taco-sauce. Rough.

LA area has some amazing Mexican food, its where I learned the term guisado. I don’t understand some people.

I bet my mom would love those tacos.

Thankfully, she realized that seasoning doesn’t necessarily mean heat or excess salt and is better about seasoning food now and we found a hole in a wall that does really good mexican food that she likes too.
