We got nothing from the Dems, so the only thing that remains for us to do is what we always said we will do no matter what - vote for Harris.
It would be commitment of a sort to grow a backbone, respect for staying true to their non-principles
Absolutely pathetic.
they really are uncommitted
Can’t say I’m not disappointed.
Can’t say I’m surprised.
same energy
“It’s not a vote for Kamala; it’s a vote against Trump!”
Okay, if you’re against both, then vote against both then?
“No we have to vote against trump tho”
What a disappointment
Libs pushing the “voting 3rd party helps Trump” narrative so hard makes me wonder if they’re going to introduce legislation that actually causes all 3rd party votes to count as a vote for the Republican candidate.
Mostly the dems are trying to use the courts to kick third parties off the ballot in swing states. It’s going all the way to the supreme court in Georgia. But the dems love democracy, of course.
Listened to KYE and they had two uncommitted apparatchiks on and they gave an hour spiel about how the party led them on and ghosted them at the convention, and I couldnt stomach finishing the thing, but you could just tell how big of an L they took given that they didn’t even get to save face w the crumb of a speaker, and wanted to vent, but will have to just suck it up and eat all the shit if they want to maintain any power in the party.
Big, I’ll keep drinking that garbage, energy.
A nascent movement coopted by the DEMs?
tfw you have to balance your career in dem circles and credibility among decent people. Surprised they didn’t fold completely (also its slightly misleading title, more like non-endorsed endorsed) intercept article
absolute clown shit. the “uncommitted movement” has been a joke since its inception, they’ve never been serious and it’s just been a ploy to capture the hesitant dem voters and prevent them from going 3rd party. if they aren’t going to apply any of their political leverage to get concessions, what even is the point?
I don’t think it’s a ploy, there’s real Palestinians in it and stuff. I think this is just what happens when we have no real socialist organization or education, and radical alternatives are demonized. Everyone here knows they want something real bad, and they may even organize for it, but they have no idea how to get it beyond that. They’ve been blinded to the possibilities by propaganda.
I don’t doubt that there are people involved that are sincere in their motives, but the movement itself has never had a clear direction or discipline even from the beginning. “So u hhh, we want you to stop arming and sending money to Israel and stuff, ok? Like uh, we’ll still Vote Blue No Matter Who and stuff because Trump Bad, but pretty please still do what we want ok?” Zero leverage.
“They say the uncommitted movement did all those extra steps in their Kamala endorsement!”
Voting for genocide but enlightenedly
wish this was suddenly written over every D yard sign in the country
“We’re against the genocide candidate but if you vote for an anti-genocide candidate then you’re actually supporting the genocide” -smartest American liberal
NOOOO this is a once in a lifetime very important election twice in a row please bro just voot please we’ll hold them accountable please bro trust me
The Uncommited to palestine movement
