CHD and Kennedy have relentlessly spread dangerous misinformation about the safe, lifesaving MMR vaccine, including that it causes autism (it does not) and even deaths (it does not).

So much better that she just died rather than got autism and then died.

As if autism is the worst thing you can have, come on… That’s actually offensive af of them to even say. I have autism and I’d rather have it than be dead, any day.

There are definitely days I’d rather be dead, but that’s not the autism’s fault, it’s morons that believe in this shit.

Not just irresponsible, delusional. At what point does delusional thinking causing a child’s death turn into neglect or child abuse?

    These fucking people are ghouls.

Edit: Christ, those times when I fail as a parent, all I need to do is read about this kinda bullshit. Holy hell. I cannot contemplate this attitude to the preventable death of one of my kids.

Love it or hate it: having a litter of children works. You can neglect them and a few might make it to adulthood.

That’s a 20% mortality rate. If vaccines had anywhere near that level of mortality risk, all the streets of every city in the world would be absolutely fucking littered with bodies. You have to be one dumb motherfucker to think this is some kind of vindication for your antivax position.

Well, the existence of these people are why the trolley problem is a problem at all. They think it’s more ok for 5 people to die by them not doing anything than 1 people dying instead because of their involvement.

I work with a guy who is an extreme germ, a phobia. He always wears latex gloves even when he eats his food but yet he refused to get the Covid vaccine him and his wife are not even 30 yet and they have nine kids. I believe four of them have some sort immune deficiency problem, as well as one or two with a learning disability yet it’s all part of God‘s plan FYI he is also a big-time Mormon.

Fuck it, i need to know. What does being a homophobe have to do with eating with latex gloves or no covid shots?

[he’s] an extreme germ, a phobia.

I love the new version where now he’s straight up just a singular bacterium with strong opinions, and that’s freaking you out. Pls don’t change it again

Fear that their food or covid shots might’ve been handled by someone attracted to their same gender? Hoping it’s just an unfortunate typo and they meant germaphobe.

There was another story the other day of a father whose unvaccinated daughter died of measles, and he said he was still glad she didn’t get the vaccine because he didn’t trust what’s in it to be safe. These people’s minds are not functioning rationally.

Measles is insanely infectious. People have no clue the fire they’re inviting into our lives. Even vaccinated people are at risk.

Yes, so often we see people online saying “Ha ha, let the morons get COVID/measles/bird flu/etc!” They don’t stop to think about the risk to everyone else, particularly vulnerable people some of whom can’t get vaccinated and rely on herd immunity. In all these years still that lesson doesn’t seem to have been learned. I suspect the people saying this are healthy young people who haven’t really considered how different from theirs some people’s lives are.

Many of them are likely just annoyed and use it as a coping mechanism. It’s understandable. I find it easy to believe that when a group of people wants to kill and or deport you, your family members, friends, or even your neighbors. That resentment will build and ultimately people will say they want things to get worse faster so it opens eyes faster and we as a community start fixing the problem sooner. For example it’s why I have at times wanted Trump to ignore/piss off the courts more once he already has violated people’s rights since only violating some people’s rights people are coping with just fine. A good example of something that would harm and possibly kill many people before things were fixed is social security. Many people would say we would be fine with it at this point if social security checks just stopped going out. It’s not because we want those people to die. It’s because we want an act like that to happen sooner rather than later. It would directly impact the largest majority who supported this administration. So something so blatantly obvious is harder to get blame shifted, and the people who only say to themselves “am I better off now” would have to admit to themselves they are not. Opening the door to possibilities of a rapid change through grander support. The bill of rights has been ignored, the constitution has been ignored, so many believe the only reason they are “playing” that the government is still in function is to ensure they have replaced all the people they need with sycophants so when the mask does eventually shatter, it is to late for anyone to really do anything. All media outlets controlled, all Government entities (including elections), all large corporations, the food, water, energy… All controlled to make it so we can be tamed and drivin like sheep.

In a dictatorship we are all slaves with no rights, people right now are still believing we have rights because the facade.

Gotta keep having kids if you’re going to let them die like this or disown them when they turn out wrong. Arrows for the quiver of god, or whatever. That poor child deserved to live a full life.
