Yes they’re illegal. But legalising them would be a step towards safer batteries, safer users. The real issue is the Police dont want to make the roads safe any more over here. They themselves are boy-racers.
The Government also had the option of stopping the private scooters from coming into the country and they too did nothing. They had the option of enforcing safety standards and did nothing there, either.
I wonder how their safety stastistics compare to, lets say, for example, for the sake of argument… cars?
