Why do dogs like tennis balls so much? Is it their slightly furry texture reminding them of catching a small prey? Or is it the fact that small, spherical, bouncy things don’t exist in nature that makes them such an appealing toy?
Or maybe they don’t care for tennis balls either way, and their true motivation is the fact that playing with one is a surefire way to entice a human into playing with them.
I wish I had backed up my mod list from when it was working a few weeks ago. Maybe this time I’ll remember to do that when I get it working - in fact I should make it a point to back up literally everything if it works, the wineprefix, the mod organizer install, all the mod zip files… never know when Steam will release another SteamVR update that breaks it all unexpectedly.

Saw a tiktok of a guy with a huuuge lawn that was all one type of grass, with sand underneath it to discourage bugs and weeds. Every single comment was somebody dunking on him for having a boring lawn that’s bad for the environment, less a handful of ameribrains wondering why kids seemingly hate grass.
Agreed, that’s why I went with “restrictions” instead of “get banned”, which is what happened to bitcoin in every major Chinese city IIRC.
Skyrim VR update.
I gave it a few days and came back to try again. Fresh install of everything, .deb version of Steam, SteamVR set to the previous version, Mod Organizer 2 installed the first time without a problem, and the base game running without issues. Dunno what’s up with the most recent version of SteamVR but it appears to have broken Valve Index controller emulation, which is why I’m using the previous. Dunno what’s up with the flatpack version of Steam but running the previous version of SteamVR on it made it extremely unstable despite that same version working fine a couple of weeks ago. Now I gotta download mods again - this particular step has never been the culprit for breaking everything, but you never know!

While we were out walking she found a deer leg on the ground. No idea where the rest of the deer was, if it leftover from a hunter or roadkill or a coyote pack, it was by itself.
Mia decides that this is the greatest stick she has ever found. Picks it up and carries it for a bit before I realize what it is and tell her to drop it. She refuses, and starts playing with it instead.
I try to take it away from her. Bad idea, she thinks I’m trying to play tug of war and gets very excited. I try to walk away from it, she carries it with her. All I can do is wait for her to “throw” it while playing and then pull her away with her leash.

I feel your pain. My problem is I’ve got some strategies/loadouts I really want to play that are still multiple battlepass pages away (I just got enough super credits last night to start on the one that unlocks the eruptor). No I won’t pay extra for a game I spent $60 on to unlock things slightly faster.
If I had a dollar for every time someone threw my respawn right into a bunch of heavies I’d have like fifty dollars. They should let you pick your respawn location on the map.
I’ve actually had the most success using the Senator revolver out of all the non-heavy weapons, lmao. My biggest pain points are my grenades and primary gun because I feel like I just haven’t unlocked any of the good ones yet - if I had the stun grenades and the eruptor I wouldn’t rage so much.
