In first reading the title I was wondering if the bill was talking about people blindly following Trump.

Birds died? Like bucolic lives were tragically cut short by the flu? What do news services think happens to female chickens as soon as their prime egg laying time is over? And how about male chicks?

OK…. Let us all see you do better.

Well, there’s little chance he’ll feel any shame, so there’s no point in working that angle. How about a “Clippy” approach:

1. “We notice you’re working to dismantle the US government. Are you sure your voters support you in this?”.
   …or…
2. “We notice you’re working to dismantle the US government. Who the f**k thought that was a good idea?”

And most of all organize. Talk to your neighbors and friends about what they are doing to prepare. Help one another.

That’s the part that really hit home.

We were in the Altadena fire zone. My wife evacuated far south, staying near work. Our foster and I went just down into Los Angeles to stay with a friend. We confirmed that he likes to chase cats but he got along nicely with her two foster chihuahuas. He also accepted being in a crate most of the day as long as short walks happened periodically. On Thursday he got called back so he could be part of a group of shelter dogs heading to a partner shelter in San Diego. While dropping him off it became apparent my shelter needed help with the flood of donations. The community outpouring of support was awesome. After two days they were overwhelmed and started sending donations to a local partner shelter. I stayed for a third day because residents were still streaming in for supply pickups.
