Or maybe “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.”
Or maybe “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.”
There’s the door, asshole.
Tears and toilet paper.
I think it’s a worthy sequel. There were parts that lost me a little the first time through, but I’ve come to enjoy the ride that these books send you on. I’d place the third book above the second, but it’s difficult to match the iconic level of the first. I enjoy them all.
Listening to “The Republic of Thieves” by Scott Lynch for the second time. Just started reading “Artemis” by Andy Weir for the first.
Whole Foods can only benefit from having workers who are happier, healthier, working harder, and staying longer because their union is taking care of them. This will improve the customer experience, which will improves sales. It’s a win-win-win.
The only people who lose here are corporate assholes looking to exploit their workers and the general public who will be spoon fed some twisted, anti-union, anti-worker version of this story.
They donated millions to Trump in exchange for future handouts, tax cuts, and deregulation. They’ll still get all that, of course, but they also got tariffs, chaos, and government programs too gutted and dismantled to assist them with programs they might depend on.
That’s terrible. Sounds like Auburn administration actually wants to educate these men and women, but the ADoC is making up some bullshit excuse(s) to keep them out. Disgusting.

So, this is nothing like what you’re looking for, but here’s another take on “dies irae” by Symphony X.
This is the state of the world right now: insane ideas like this meant to be an April Fool’s joke instead seems like just another crazy and dystopian headline. It’s not fun anymore…
Nintendo’s been saying this for decades, though this particular message is ridiculous.
But I still love playing my old SNES games. The Switch was laughably under-powered, but I still sank hundreds of hours into dozens and dozens of games… Because Nintendo values gameplay over spectacle. They’re not the only ones, of course, but I think they consistently do it better than most.

Jonathan Coulton. His songs are this perfect blend of funny, nerdy, and melancholic. Like, one song is about a self-loathing giant squid that I find myself totally identifying with.
Is this game worth checking out? Or does it need more time?
I know not every tune in 5/4 is “Take Five,” but this definitely had a “Take Five” feel. Nice job!
