I reckon a small amount of bacon just to add a bit of depth to the flavour. I wouldn’t fry it too much beforehand, just a little. A chicken based Bol can be a bit meh (or some I’ve had were), so adding just a little bacon or something cured and strong tasting is a good choice. Maybe I’m just biased because I love the richness of beef.

So it turns out Miniest needs reading glasses. Huh. Didn’t have that on my bingo card for this year 🤔. She’s pretty happy to wear glasses too and luckily she looks good wearing them.

Had a really nice pizza at a local cafe

This morning Miniest complained she was cold… she is fully dressed and has 4 doonas and 3 blankets on the bed! Meanwhile Elder is sleeping in a regular singlet and shorts with a fan blowing on his face and one doona and a blanket in his bed but not on it!

Workmates and I are going out for dinner on Friday night for the boss’s birthday. The last time I went out for dinner was the work Christmas party 🤣It was going to be a secret but it had to be postponed a couple of times, so someone ended up telling him so he wouldn’t bail on us after work 😂

Holy shit dude! Thank goodness it’s getting fixed before you got to a stage where you thought someone was secretly living in your roof or something.

I grabbed a green goddess salad for lunch but there wasn’t much in it so I chopped up an apple and mixed it through. It was pretty yummy and I really enjoyed it, but the chewing!
